The government of Canada let the permanent residents to apply for citizenship of this country. 1 Be a Permanent Resident.
2 Have resided in Canada for 1095 days i.e., 3 years in the past 5 years.
3 Applicants must have passed the language proficiency test of age 18 to 54 with CLB 4 or higher.
4 Pass the Citizenship test.
5 Have filed income tax for 3 years out of 5 years before applying.
